| Well, seeing that it's been some time, and I don't feel like recapping on the past few months of my life yet, I'll do some survey I found on the Internet. Inspired by Liz, actually...

| Wow, no more high school. I'm happy. After yesterday, I'm glad that I won't have to see a lot of people.
Anyhow, the grad ceremony could be described as long and boring. The handing out of certificates took forever! Sucks to have a lastname that starts with an S. But, I got $250 for having the second-most volunteer hours (379 hrs), so that was all good. I also got a Certificate for Francais du Base. I was surprised, but hey, I actually finished the French program o_O.
Afterwards, the family went to Subway to get subs (wow, really?). I had 18" of sandwich goodness. The sandwich artist was a trainee and was really slow, but the presentation made up for it. I could tell the manager was getting really antsy at how slow the trainee was making the sandwiches. But it was tasty, so it was all good.
Came home, surfed howstuffworks.com, then took a nap. Then my mom woke me up and said that she booked a photo session at a studio, so I would have to wake up early to put on my tux to go get my picture taken. Bah. It was interesting, got to see a lot of cool camera equipment, and the photographer was nice, so it was all good.
Went to the grad dinner and dance. Hung out with my homeboys giving mad pimpage proppz to their attire. For the grand march, Pete, Paul, Mark, Ted, and I all linked arms and walked into the dining room. Gave a good chuckle to the people. As we crossed the dance floor, we kicked up our legs in the good ol' Third Reich style. We then settled in our seats. The food was pretty good. The speeches sucked for the most part, but I really enjoyed Mr. Shepp's speech. I think it really hit home with some people, as I will discuss later one. After the dinner, the dance commenced, but the music really sucked, and well, I hate dancing with a passion, so we all went out, talked, and took pictures. I think I got a good number of photos.
Then, it was time to load the bus to the Safe Grad. Safe grad sucked for the most part, but it was nice haning out with friends. As soon as we arrived there, people were lining up to buy drink tickets. I think that I was one of the few, if not, the only person that did not comsume alcoholic beverages. But I'm used to being the strange person so it wasn't bad. Besides the 3.2L of Dasani water, I also had a blue slurpee. Yay. For food, the pizza and meat looked bad, so I grabbed two handfuls of cheese and one handful of carrots. Wow, I was such a loser. There was this plate of finger foods, and I just cleared out all the cheese. Hahaha...Pete handled his alcohol consumption very well, I'd have to say. I'd also say that Amanda was a model of sobriety, but then I'd be lying. It was really fun seeing her hammered. She was rolling around in the chairs and generally acting drunk. In the lineup for more alcohol, I tapped her in the leg behind her kneecap and she toppled over. Haha, that was fun. Liz, Ted, and Mark didn't drink that much, as far as I know. At least they didn't act like it. Laura was reaaaly drunk too, but not too bad. There was a lot of crazy things happening. Izzy was dancing on the tabletops, people generally acting like assholes, etc. I was the keeper of drinks at the table, and when it came time for me to hand Chas back his drink, Paul threw up his arms in some sort of gesture to someone, spilling alcohol all over me. I was soaked. And it smelled like cat urine. Haha. Someone, who asked to remain anonymous, vmoited all over a chair and on the floor by our table. It was kind of funny. The vomit was blue in colour with chunks. I was able to sidestep the vomit, but a lot of girls with their "pretty"/expensive shoes stepped all over it, and in it. That was great. Another girl sat in the chair with vomit on it. Great times! Gotta love sobriety.
I can tell a girl is drunk when they actually talk to me =p. One girl was a Biology lab parter some time ago, and I really couldn't tell what she was saying, but the fact that she was talking to me was enough for me to conclude that she was drunk. She also ruffled my hair when I was sitting down...that was a bit creepy. Another girl came up to me and said that she never knew that I went to her school but it was nice to see me. Haha...that was quite funny. Craig was really sloshed, as he kept falling on people. James McKee slipped on the floor and fell on his face, much to the amusement of the bartenders.
All in all, it was an interesting experience. I have concluded: 1) Dancing is stupid, you wouldn't even find me dead going to one 2) Alcohol is stupid. I don't think I have to explain my reason. I don't mind if you drink though. For me, I'd rather not. Neurosciences rox my sox. 3) My friends are really nice people. Hagning out with Ted, Liz, Pete, Amanda, et. al. was really nice, offsetting the previous two points.
Everyone else can go screw themselves. It is my hope that I never have to see those lowlives ever again. Yay. =)
Anyhow, I leave tommorow to go work at camp. I'll be in the wilderness for 6 weeks, this year working as a councelor and canoeing instructor. I'll need to get my hair cut, and purchase a few things, then pack my bags. It's going to be a great time, I can't wait. But I'll miss y'all. Cya!

Zambrini, Tullio / Servillo, Giuseppe Ferro Canto Della Terra see related | Anyhow, I just barely passed my Gr. 5 (Advanced) Music Harmony (Theory) exam. I got a 67, where the passing mark is 60. Anyhow, I don't care. Music can shove it for one, and passing an exam at this level is quite good. And that would be if I had done my homework, which by the way I didn't do. Yeah, it looked like I was going to be screwed. Haha, well, I survived yet another year. Bah, I hate this music theory...
| Ah yes, T.A.T.U, interesting group. "ß ñîøëà ñ óìà" is a song about young lesbian love. Awesome, ain't it? I'm sure Ted would love it. Anyhow, one day, I was in Paul's room, and I saw a poster of this group on his wall (he has a lot of posters, I'm jealous, I need to buy some). They were pretty hot. Anyhow, another day, I was browsing through his music vids, wanting to download Spiders by System of a Down. So I came across this group, and thought hey, I'll download a video. So I did. Really cool. And it really ties in with the whole trying to learn Russian thing. I'm having high hopes for Russia. =).
Anyhow, went to Pete's house last night. My mom didn't want to give me a ride (still don't have a car), and suggested me to take the bus. Pffft, no thanks, so I biked instead. I love biking. Anyhow, went to Pete's house, watched the movie Snatch. Pretty boring overall, but had some interesting and funny parts to it. I couldn't understand a word most of them were saying. Crazy English accents. It was about 1 AM by the time we were supposed to go home. So I'm about to go out, and Paul mentions the heavy rain, and offers me a ride =). Aww.. Anyhow, I tell him that I live for biking in the rain. It is my favourite thing, almost, in all the world. So I bike home, at 1 AM, in the rain. Probably caused a few passerbys to question, but it was all good and fun. I averaged 30 km/h or so, setting yet another new record. In the final stretch (Roblin/Dale to home), I averaged about 45 km/h. I wonder if that's more than the speed limit in that residential area. Got home, thought hey, I'm pumped, and it's raining, so I went out for another 20 minutes. My oh my was I soaked. I forgot my graphing calculator was in my backpack, so now the display got faint :(. Ah well, hopefully I'll buy a TI-89 Titanium. The ol' Ti-83+ was getting, well, old :p.
Yeah, looks like I'm really not going to work much next year. So no car. Ah well, I plan on going to school early by bus, doing my couses and labs (I might have up to 10 labs next year o_O), studying and doing homework, then heading over to the Faculty of Music to practice piano (to get this ARCT out of the way), then taking the bus home, arriving at about 10:30 PM or so. So I'll be spending most of my day at school. Yay. That makes me happy, not having to put up with the family.
EDIT: *sigh* Xanga needs a charset, so at the moment anything Cyrillic will look like a bunch of garbled mess...
| I'm listening to Pimsleur's "Learn Russian." That's right. I'm learning Russian. This course is unique in that you listen to a conversation, then it is broken down into syllables and words, and you are constantly being tested during the track. This is purely auditory. I'm also working on the "Learn Russian Now!" program. That one is both visual and auditory. Cyrillic characters was sodomizing me, but I'm getting the hang of it. I've even printed out the Russian Keyboard layout.
So why is Big G learning Russian, you say? To move to Russia, of course! Now I'm not sure of the laws of polygamy there, but I think I'll pick up a few wives there. It's like cars. Each car has a certain purpose. You wouldn't take the 911 for dropping off your kids to soccer practice. That's what the Cayenne Turbo is for. And you wouldn't take one of your wives on a date in a Cayenne Turbo, that's what the 760Li is for. Anyhow, before long, Big G is gonna be Big Pimpin', yo.
